While serving for almost 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, Keesha Covington-Palmer inherited the name “Covi.” Covi gained a passion and love for barbering while working as a member of the Security Forces, which is primarily dominated by males. She perfected her craft by volunteering her services to fellow airmen who were more than happy to let her perfect her hair cutting skills.

From the Air Force, Covi went straight to barber school in San Antonio, Texas to obtain her official barber license. After researching the barber shop scene in San Antonio and today’s market trends and strategies, Covi gained insight on mobile barber services and came to the conclusion that mobile services are still fairly new and could revolutionize the barber and salon industry.

She developed her own vision and constructed her first fully functional mobile barber unit with her own hands and hammer. It didn’t take long for her peers to realize the extraordinary skill level and entrepreneur mindset Covi possessed.
